This skein of sock yarn was spun from Corriedale fiber dyed by David of Southern Cross Fibre. It is what I call "Pseudo-Self-Striping," meaning that it will gently stripe as you knit it but not in a predictable fashion. The striped sections are not as distinct as they are in hand-dyed self-striping yarns; instead, you'll get a gentle, gradual transition from one color to the next.
This yarn is 100% Corriedale wool and is hand wash only. It is approximately 441 yards/403 meters in length and 3.9 oz./110 g in weight. Though the fiber was rinsed and the finished skein was washed after spinning, there may be some residual excess dye in the yarn that may show up when you first wash your project.
This yarn was spun in a smoke-free, pet-free home. It was washed using a small amount of dishwashing liquid and rinsed in water with a glug of white vinegar.
